Kieran van Dorsten
Director
Kieran's passion for building began with his apprenticeship here in the Waikato before expanding his expertise through a Quantity Surveying qualification and seven years working in Christchurch and London. This combination of hands-on trade experience and commercial construction knowledge gives him a unique understanding of every stage of the building process.
After returning home to Cambridge, Kieran worked as a Construction Manager for a leading Hamilton building company before establishing ResiBuilt in 2021. Today, he leads all construction operations and works closely with clients, consultants, and trades to ensure every project is delivered to the highest standard.
With extensive experience in construction management, estimating, project delivery, and building methodology, Kieran brings a practical, solutions-focused approach to every build. His commitment to quality craftsmanship, clear communication, and attention to detail helps turn clients' ideas into homes they are proud to own for years to come.
Olivia van Dorsten
Director
Olivia brings more than a decade of business and financial management experience to ResiBuilt. Having previously worked as a Chartered Accountant, she spent many years helping small and medium-sized businesses improve performance, implement strong business systems, and achieve sustainable growth.
At ResiBuilt, Olivia oversees the financial, marketing, and administrative functions of the business, ensuring clients enjoy a seamless experience from their first enquiry through to project completion. Her strong organisational skills and attention to detail help keep every project running smoothly behind the scenes.
Olivia is particularly passionate about the early design and planning stages of a project. She enjoys working alongside clients as their ideas take shape and loves seeing the transformation from a bare section to a completed home. Her focus on customer experience, communication, and continuous improvement plays an important role in delivering the high level of service ResiBuilt is known for.

Building your home should feel exciting, not overwhelming. Our proven process keeps you informed, supported, and confident from your first conversation through to handover.
1. Initial Consultation
Not quite sure where to start? Let’s have a chat about bringing your ideas into the real world.
2. Concept Design & Pricing
Everything’s clearer when you put it down on paper. This is where you make sure everything fits together nicely, and falls within your budget.
3. Detailed Drawings
Time for the nitty gritty: these drawings are the ones we’ll send off to the council for approval. This stage is also when the final build price is fixed.
4. Contract & Consent
Let’s make it official. Contracts are signed and final plans are sent off to your local council for consent.
5. Construction
Time to build! After all the prep, it’s finally happening. Between us and our conscientious subcontractors, we’re fully committed to bringing your vision to life.
6. Handover
It’s the day you’ve been waiting for. The journey is over, everything’s done and your shiny new home is ready and waiting. Congrats!
